The Atlantic Chapter had a planning retreat on Sunday April 10th, 2011. The agenda ranged from Sierra Club structure, policy, and conservation campaigns to grant-based fund-raising methods.  This helpful program by and for our volunteer leaders took place at the Atlantic Chapter Headquarters, 353 Hamilton Street, Albany - just a minutes walk from our NYS Capital.  The retreat bridged the quarterly Saturday Atlantic Chapter Executive Committee meeting and Monday's rally and lobby day (see above).  Further retreats are being considered to help our chapter better face the threats to our health and environment.
