The Rochester Regional Group
Rochester Sierra
Club Blog

The purpose of this Group is to foster (within its territorial limits) the purposes of the Sierra Club, as stated in its bylaws:
To explore, enjoy, and protect the wild places of the earth; to practice and promote the responsible use of the earth's ecosystems and resources; to educate and enlist humanity to protect and restore the quality of the natural and human environment; and to use all lawful means to carry out these objectives.
We are funded in part by a portion of member dues which the national Sierra Club returns to us. However, most of our income is raised through our own fund-raising efforts, primarily the sale of Sierra Club calendars. Our greatest expense is printing and mailing our bimonthly newsletter.
The Eco-Logue keeps our members informed of group activities as well as progress in our conservation efforts.
Make a Tax Deductible Contribution: If you want to make a tax-deductible contribution you can do it in a way that will directly benefit the Rochester Regional Group of the Sierra Club. Cash, stocks, or bonds can be given to the Sierra Club Foundations marked "For use by the Rochester Regional Group."
